Production management software can be integrated with any business management system (ERP), from where it imports data on the company's working methods and the products made (production orders, recipes and execution steps). All this information will be used by the production management system to be transmitted to the factory, in order to execute operations.- Additional details can be easily added to the information imported from ERP, to correctly define production cycles and to transmit data to the machines (operations, instructions, recipes, production steps).
- In the absence of integration with an ERP system, all data on products and manufacturing processes can be defined directly in the MES system.
DATA COLLECTION
DATA TRANSMISSION AND COLLECTION
The production management system ensures real-time, bidirectional communication with all components involved in the process. This allows both the rapid transmission of orders to operators and machines, and the automatic collection of data related to the execution of production.- Operators, through workstations used both to visualize the operations to be performed and to interact with the system, in order to add data regarding the activities performed.
- Machines, through standard protocols and communication logic, sending instructions related to the processes and collecting data regarding the production of the machine.
TRANSMISSION OF DOCUMENTS
ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION OF DOCUMENTS
The MES solution allows the display in digital format of all the documentation needed in the factory:- Videos, manuals, notes, instructions, drawings, product specifications.
- In any format: pdf, jpeg, png, MP4, etc.
- It is not necessary to upload any document, but only to indicate the access path to the location where it is stored.
- The documentation can be associated with any resource: operator, equipment, product.
- Files can be uploaded including from the factory: such as images of the products made, which are awaiting the manager's approval.
MONITORING AND ANALYSIS
